Application Lab – Powder Characterization

The characterisation of powders is essential for the rest of their process. A powder is an assembly of solid particles between which a multitude of interactions are exerted, such as the Van der Waals interaction. It is therefore essential to characterise the physico-chemical properties of the powder in terms of specific surface area, morphology, particle size and flowability in order to make the best use of it in the production process.
