The Mechanical Workshop is dedicated to the preparation and finishing of samples, as well as the machining of parts made to order, solely for the purpose of conducting special tests. It has a wide range of equipment for cutting, machining, grinding and polishing specimens/bars, mainly for mechanical and microstructural characterisation.
