At BCRC (INISMA-CRIBC), we explore and develop new ceramic processes and materials:
- high‑performance ceramics designed for extreme conditions and advanced functions
- ceramics for health (bioceramics, implants, medical devices, functionalized surfaces)
- ceramics for energy (batteries, solid electrolytes, fuel cells, high‑temperature thermal insulation)
- ceramics for refractory applications, at the heart of high‑temperature industrial processes
- ceramics for digital manufacturing (3D printing, additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, microfabrication)
- ceramics for the building sector: new low‑carbon concretes, bricks, roofing tiles, insulation materials and sustainable solutions for construction
